Our Story
After a 25-year career managing high-stakes projects in the engineering and construction industry, Roger Farish founded Farish Estimating and Consulting to offer specialized expertise in front-end estimating, project management, project controls, and project development. Roger's journey began with a Bachelor and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tulane University. His professional path includes significant roles at industry leaders such as Bechtel, Fluor, Linde and Kiewit, where he honed his skills in project management, estimating, engineering and construction.

At Kiewit, Roger led the implementation of the Aspen Capital Cost Estimator (ACCE) software, becoming a super-user to efficiently develop capital project cost models in the oil, gas, chemicals, and energy transition space. This experience inspired him to establish his own consulting firm, focusing on innovative solutions in project estimating and management.

Roger is a licensed Professional Engineer, holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is fluent in English and Spanish. His dedication to excellence and client-focused approach are the cornerstones of Farish Estimating and Consulting, which is committed to delivering precise, actionable guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
